LESSONS
No drummer is the same, therefore lessons are designed to fit the needs of each pupil. Since I first began teaching in 2007, I've developed my ability to identify the best path for everyone. In some cases, targeting and working on individual areas in drumming is just as beneficial as progressing through grade systems.

I've guided pupils through various exam boards, and have developed my own tried and tested custom SQA programme. I have a wealth of educational drum books and have developed many of my own exercises and concepts.

My studio is fully kitted out with many different drums, cymbals and more, giving pupils an expansive percussive learning environment. It also boasts professional recording capabilities, so pupils can work towards performing their favourite songs and sharing them with friends and family.

See below for some FAQs.

HOW LONG ARE LESSONS?
Lessons are 30 mins or an hour and I'm happy to chat to work out the best option for you. Unlike many tutors and music schools, I do not charge more for shorter lessons. I believe there should be no business tactics involved when choosing your lesson length.

HOW OFTEN ARE LESSONS?
In most cases, lessons on a weekly basis is usually the most beneficial. Again, I'm happy to discuss the best option for you.

HOW MUCH ARE LESSONS?
